The HESTIA consortium met for the first time at the Safran Tech headquarters in Paris

The kick-off meeting of the HESTIA project took place from 29-30 September 2022 at Safran Tech in Châteaufort (Paris suburbs).

The HESTIA consortium, composed of six European aero-engine manufacturers and 18 universities and research centres, met to present the HESTIA technical objectives and work plan, as well as to discuss technical issues and refine tasks for the first 12 months of the project.

It was also an opportunity to meet the project officer, Leonidas SIOZOS-ROUSOULIS (CINEA), who gave a presentation on CINEA’s support of collaborative aviation R&I as well as rules and procedures in Horizon Europe.

The management and dissemination activities of the HESTIA project were also presented to the 46 participants.
